As a journalist, Ian's expertise as a communicator covers all aspects of editing, publishing and media production. He trained with a leading Scottish print and book publishing house then worked for the Glasgow Herald before moving to Canada where he held several senior editorial posts with the Toronto Globe and Mail.
Returning to Scotland he rejoined the Herald on its agricultural and business desks before engaging with a public relations company specialising in oil industry consultancy.
Ian spent a few years as deputy chief sub-editor of the Bulawayo Chronicle during which time he developed an intimate knowledge and understanding of Africa and its politics.
In 1981, Ian joined the South China Morning Post as foreign editor, business and went on to head up the special reports section. Within three years, he had boosted the newspaper's earnings in this sector from an annual HK$12m to $120m, handling 125 supplements and six major full-colour magazines annually with a staff of three.
Ian joined the Hongkong Standard as managing editor, special features, prior to establishing Stenhouse Portfolio Ltd in 1989.
Fiona has put to good use her extensive knowledge of people management, internationally, among corporate, state, commonwealth, provincial governments and NGOs.
She attended the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa where her studies included a Bachelors degree, a post graduate qualification in industrial relations and a Master of Management degree.

An alumnus of Bath Spa University, Remo Notarianni relocated to Asia in the late '90s from the UK. He cut his career in Hong Kong’s dynamic, rapidly evolving publishing industry, starting out in textbook publishing. But the opportunity to work at Reader’s Digest Asia in 1997 saw him become a core member of the English language editorial team, propelling him towards other sophisticated journalistic ventures and adventures.
He was a creative force in the successful launch and development of the Hong Kong Economic Times' schools newspaper, a first in the territory. He has worked as a copywriter, and in multimedia and custom publishing. Remo has written extensively for the South China Morning Post, The Standard, and Edipresse and has worked on client publishing projects for organisations like WWF, the Noble Group, and Synovate as well as promotional materials for companies such as Ricoh and Leica.
An author of children's books and serious works of fiction, Remo is an avid film-maker as well as an award-winning photographer. He loves to creatively 'push the envelope' and is excited by current trends in publishing.
Adrian has worked with Edit24 for the past four years. He has served in numerous roles including writing, editing, administration and managing the electronic functions of the company.
During this time he worked in fields such as sales and marketing (WebcastMedia), journalism (South China Morning Post) and funds management (Panoramic Asset Management).
